Next Gen Ranger Volcano Offroad Mud flaps To Suit EGR Flares
Volcano Off Road Mud Flaps for Ford Ranger Next Gen (2022–2026)
Your Next Gen Ranger's wheel arches were designed for stock wheels. The moment you fit wider rims or flares, road debris has a clear path to your paint, lower guards, and rocker panels. These mud flaps stop that.
The Ranger Next Gen Volcano mud flap kit to suit EGR flares adds 30mm of coverage beyond the factory position. Designed specifically for the Next Gen Ranger (XL, XLS, XLT, Platinum, Wildtrack) from 2022 onwards. Made from 4.2mm thick TPE rubber, they flex without cracking and hold their shape through heat, cold, and corrugated dirt roads.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these mud flaps require EGR flares to be fitted first?
These are designed to pair with EGR fender flares on the Next Gen Ranger, but can also be fitted as a standalone mud flap upgrade — check our product images for clearance details.
What are the mud flaps made from?
Manufactured from flexible, UV-resistant polymer that withstands Australian heat, rocks, and water without cracking or fading.
Is drilling required for installation?
Minimal hardware is included. Most mounting points use existing holes or clips; minor drilling may be required depending on configuration.
Are front and rear flaps included?
Yes — the set includes both front and rear mud flaps to provide full coverage around all four wheels.
Do they affect ground clearance?
No. The mud flaps are profiled to maintain the vehicle's existing ground clearance and departure angles.
Front flaps leave a gap, dont go high enough into guard
Hi Pete,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. The space you're seeing isn't a gap; the front mudflaps are intentionally shaped that way to provide additional clearance for wider wheel and tyre setups.
I'm not sure what wheel offset you're running, but if you compare them with the factory mudflaps you'll notice how much closer the factory flap sits to the tyre. The extra clearance is deliberate and helps reduce the chance of tyre contact.
A lot of R&D has gone into the shape and fitment of these mudflaps, so you can be confident that the clearance is by design and the mudflap will still perform as intended.
Fit well and use existing holes. Look good. Just not sure there are rectangular holes in the bottom of the mud flap.
Hi Shaun,
Glad you like them! The squares help drag so in soft stuff like sand they won't be able to pull off.
Volcano is releasing a full solid molded one in a few months.
